Dear Incoming Kindergarten Families,
We are excited to welcome you and your incoming Kindergarten student to Ridges Elementary!
The beginning of the school year looks a bit different for Kindergarten students as we welcome our newest students. First, you and your incoming Kindergarten student(s) are invited to a 90-minute Kindergarten Orientation session on August 27th. This will be a time for students and their parents/caregivers to meet staff, tour the school, learn about key rules and procedures, and drop off school supplies. Times are scheduled by last name alpha.
August 27 Kindergarten Orientation Times
- 8:00 to 9:30 – Last names starting with A-J
- 10:00 to 11:30 – Last names starting with K-Q
- 12:00 to 1:30 – Last names starting with R-Z
Childcare is available for siblings of incoming Kindergarten students for the duration of the 90-minute session. If childcare is needed, use this form to register.

This newsletter includes the complete start of the school year schedule, school supply lists, and other relevant information.
